Standard

This standard describes methods for measuring the linear waveform distortions of TV video signals, that is, distortions which are caused by amplitude-independent (linear) transmission characteristics of television equipment and facilities. The primary application of this standard is for routine operational and maintenance tests, where rapid interpretation of test results is desirable. The techniques described here may also be applicable to laboratory measurements, and detailed mainteance procedures.

511-1979 - IEEE Standard on Video Signal Transmission Measurement of Linear Waveform Distortion
December 11, 1979 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

This standard describes methods for measuring the linear waveform distortions of TV video signals, that is, distortions which are caused by amplitude-independent (linear) transmission characteristics of television equipment and facilities. The primary application of this standard is for routine oper...

511-1974 - IEEE Trial-Use Standard on Video Signal Transmission Measurement of Linear Waveform Distortion
March 15, 1974 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

This standard describes methods for measuring the linear waveform distortions of TV video signals, that is, distortions which are caused by amplitude-independent (linear) transmission characteristics of television equipment and facilities.1 The primary application of this standard is for routine ope...

275-1966 - IEEE Proposed Test Procedure for Evaluation of Systems of Insulating Materials for A-C Electric Machinery Employing Form-Wound Preinsulated Stator Coils for Machines Rated at 50 to 2000 horsepower 35 to 1500 Kilowatts mechanical output and below 6600 volts
January 29, 1966 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

This Test Procedure has been prepared in the hope that it will serve as a useful guide for the evaluation of insulation systems for form-wound coils for alternating-current stators and to establish a sound basis for their temperature classification. Once this is accomplished in orderly and organized...

511-1956 - AIEE Proposed Test Procedure for Evaluation of Systems of Insulating Materials for Electric Machinery Employing Form-Wound Pre-insulated Coils for Machines Rated at 50-2000 horsepower and below 6600 Volts
October 29, 1956 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

The chief purpose of this test procedure is to classify insulation systems in accordance with their temperature limits by test, rather than by chemical composition. The intention is, first, to classify according to the recognized A, B and H categories, whose usual continuous hot-spot temperatures ar...
