Standard

This standard provides definitions and descriptions of the techniques and procedures for time domain pulse measurements. The definitions and descriptions provided are independent of specific devices, apparatus, instruments, or computing devices which may be used in pulse measurements and are prerequisite to: efficient communication of the results of pulse measurements; standards for pulse apparatus; and standards for apparatus which employs pulse techniques. Within its scope, the object of this standard is the definition of terms and the description of techniques and procedures which are applicable to the determination of the characteristics of practical and hypothetical pulses regardless of accuracy or precision. The standard relates to a wide range of technologies and disciplines.<>

181-2011 - IEEE Standard for Transitions, Pulses, and Related Waveforms
September 6, 2011 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

Approximately 100 terms and their definitions, for accurately and precisely describing the waveforms of pulse signals and the process of measuring pulse signals, are presented in this standard. Algorithms are provided for computing the values of defined terms that describe measurable parameters of t...

P181/D02, Nov 2010 - IEEE Draft Standard on Transitions, Pulses, and Related Waveforms
December 17, 2010 - IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.

This standard presents approximately 100 terms, and their definitions, for accurately and precisely describing the waveforms of pulse signals and the process of measuring pulse signals. Algorithms are provided for computing the values of defined terms that describe measurable parameters of the wavef...

ST 181:2001 - For Motion-Picture Film (8-mm Type S) — 16-mm Film Perforated 8-mm Type S (1-3) — Printed Areas
June 6, 2001 - Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers

This standard specifies the location and size of the 8-mm type S printed picture areas for negative/positive and reversal printing on 16-mm motion-picture film perforated 8-mm type S, 2R-1667 and 2R-1664 in row positions 1 and 3.

RP 181:1999 - Audio Sector Time Code and Equipment Type Information for 19-mm Type D-1 Digital Component Recording
April 23, 1999 - Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers

This practice is intended to provide an audio sector time code (ASTC) and an equipment type information (ETI). The ASTC can assist the D-1 DTTR to accurately read time code, especially under still-frame conditions. The ETI is designed to provide identification of the record DTTR. This practice appli...
